THE SPEAK UP PHILOSOPHY

We believe in a human-based approach in creating a culture where ideas and concerns are effectively expressed, supported and addressed. Imagine a world where individuals can speak freely without fear of reprimand or retaliation, while leaders have the ability to address risks before things get out of hand. We believe that this is achievable, one organisation at a time, through the speak up philosophy.

Founded in the UK, Speak Up now has built presence and a worldwide network of Industry Leaders, Speak Up Champions and Subject Matter Experts through the Speak Up Collective with membership from various countries across six (6) continents across the globe.

To date, Speak Up Malaysia has provided a wide range of services for clients ranging from regulators and government agencies, all the way to MNCs, and SMEs from various sectors.

OUR MISSION

Driven by purpose. Defined by integrity. Grounded in impact.

An icon

We turn compliance into conscience.

Because policies only matter when they protect people, not paperwork. We build systems of integrity — frameworks, investigations, and governance that safeguard dignity.

An icon

We make courage a workplace skill.

Speaking up shouldn’t be heroic; it should be normal. We equip leaders and employees with the tools to listen, respond, and act with empathy and accountability.

An icon

We translate global ideals into Malaysian realities.

Our work sits where global best practice meets local culture and law — ensuring inclusion, fairness, and respect are not imported ideas, but lived values.

An icon

We rebuild trust where silence once lived.

From crisis recovery to culture reform, we help organisations confront harm with fairness and transparency — because justice isn’t just process, it’s restoration.

OUR VALUES

If you don't know us yet, here's a quick introduction.

LOCAL CONTEXT, GLOBAL STANDARDS

Bridging global best practices with local insights for lasting impact.

Every framework, policy and training we design is built on international best practices — then reimagined through local lens and implemented based on lived realities.

Because culture isn’t copy-paste. It is experienced, layered, and deeply personal.

In multicultural workplaces, we know that effective change must honour the people. That’s why every programme is contextualised to local communities — sensitive to cultural nuances, grounded in local laws and shaped by the way people relate to one another.

By combining global rigour with local relevance, we help organisations bridge worlds: maintaining compliance, corporate governance and ethics, while staying authentic to the people's values and voices.

It’s how we make global principles feel at home — and ensure that integrity, respect, and inclusion don’t just sound right, but feel right.
